Product Information Manager : Customization Area

A File Browser or file manager provides a user interface to work with file systems. Some of the most common operations performed on files or groups of files are: create, edit, rename, move, copy, delete, search/find etc. Files are typically displayed in a hierarchy. Some file browsers may even contain features such as forward and back navigational buttons.
A folder is an entity in a file system which contains a group of files and other directories. A typical file system may contain thousands of files, and directories help organize them by keeping related files together. A directory inside another directory is called a subdirectory. Together, the directories form a hierarchy or tree structure.
Customization Area is the physical part of an application that provides User Interface to all the files that can be configured.
There are two sections in the Customization Area Browser:
- Standard Sources
- Customized Sources
Standard Sources Section is delivered with the application as standard system configuration and is read-only.
Customized Sources Section is a space where you can customize Standard data.
