Supplier Role / Buyer Role in Marketplace Catalog Portal

Users in Marketplace Catalog Portal can act in different roles.

Users who are assigned to a supplier company act in the supplier role for this company.

Users who are assigned to a buyer / customer company act in the buyer role for this company.

Users may also be assigned to more than one company, it is also possible that one user is in a supplier role for a specific supplier and also in a buyer role for a different buyer company.

Assign a User to a Company

By assigning a supplier / buyer company to a user, this user automatically acts in the supplier / buyer role.

Go to Settings / Related Company Users

Click on the button 'Create'

Select the User

Select the Company (this company should be either a supplier or customer company, check How to setup a Supplier and How to setup a Buyer / Customer)

Click on the button 'Save'
